Director's Note

“Our work is a living conversation between the roots we honor and the stages we build for the future.”

Pacífico Dance Company is a Los Angeles-based folklórico ensemble that preserves and reimagines the dances, music, and stories of Mexico as a living, contemporary art form. Through performances and community programs, we foster representation and spark dialogue around history and migration.

Our work centers on intergenerational learning—honoring tradition-bearers while inspiring younger audiences to see themselves reflected on stage. We partner with presenters and educators to create events that are artistically vibrant and culturally rich.

Mission

“To preserve and reimagine the dances, music, and stories of Mexico as a living, contemporary art form that strengthens cultural identity and belonging, honoring tradition-bearers and uplifting intergenerational voices.”
